Today it was announced AMD (NYSE: AMD) was extending its visual computing leadership with the first availability of products that conform to the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) first DisplayPort™ certification. The certification has been awarded to the ATI Radeon™ HD 3400, ATI Radeon™ HD 3600, ATI Radeon™ HD 3800, ATI FireMV™ 2260 graphics products, and the AMD 780G integrated graphics chipset .
